Emo Friday

Last day at work
Yet it was full of sadness
Rather than anger

Called it impulsive?
Guess not either

My department people are not aware of me leaving
Bet my Farewell email had shocked each of them

My team mates, dept people and Director gave me a farewell gift
I was caught by surprise
Yet with uproaring emotions

Nearing the end of the day
I broke down in tears

Not the regretful type
But the I'm-so-gonna-miss-you-guys tears

Sigh

If only my effort was being recognised

Anyway
It's all over

My new life starts again
Wish me luck
