When they said that 'Life is full of ups & downs' How true can it be I had 4 boring weekdays & 1 great Friday Which I'd totally enjoyed myself particularly I had 1 lousy weekend 6 downs & 1 up I cried last night when I was lying on my bed I donno why But something just striked me I just felt sad I wasnt sobbing But tears kept dripping outta my eyes My first cry since I'd returned Singapore .: Just returned from Holland V Celebrated Jackal's (belated) birthday, sort of Daniel, Nafe, Lewis, Mike, one of Jack's friends, Jarenis & I were there =) Mike started the night with this 'Pigeon Sandwich' mystery question & throughout dinner at Coffee Club Everyone was guessing   Tsk tskI couldnt bother to waste my brain cells over dinner Coz that was my first meal of the day & I ate happily But then something sharp cut my tongue I took it outta my mouth A small plastic fragment was hidden in my mashed potato!!! I was so shocked & I wanted to complain But the rest were like..."forget it lah","nevermind la" -_- It can kill anyone you know If I'm a kid After dinner Slacked outside Wala Wala  Wanted to enter but too crowded=3 So we headed to Gelare  Me & JarenisWe chatted for abit more Mostly about Jarenis' entrepreneurship She appeared on TODAY, the business show on Chan U & almost everywhere lah Successful business woman =) Left at 11+ Bumpy bus ride Felt nauseous after I got off bus But before that abit giddy liao Donno what's wrong la Probably low in sugar content for the day Oh well Happy Belated Birthday Jackal =) .: samedi, juillet 30, 2005:. I just came out of army camp ok Still wearing my Army pants leh Heehee  Outside Takashimaya At the spiral staircase at Heeren basementHad dinner with Pat at Galilee & Friends @ Cineleisure (Former Lips cafe)  We 'cheated' 2 student meals(We are no longer students leh) We showed them an expired SP student card & an International Student card LOL I chose the most expensive a-la-carte meal But I only paid for $5.90 *giggles evily* -following post has no pictures coz no camera- Coz Pat had night class I went to Great World City find Vince Gor play CS But I ended up watching 'Tong Xin Yuan' & 'Crime Watch' Till 9 plus & followed him to his Honda Club meetup LOL His stupid friends couldnt recognise me STUPID STUPID Just coz this time I tied my hair & wore my blue contact lens They thought I'm someone else BWHAHAHAHAHAHAH We then drove to Bugis for supper & I rode on Honda Integra!~ Cool! 'Kindaichi'(coz he looks like one) drove at 120km/hr But I couldnt really feel its speed I could feel the surge,however, as he stepped on the accelerator He said I was freaked out due to the high speed But actually I was just admiring the scenery I just love peaceful car rides (unlike Mike's car ride which I'll mention later) Slacked till 1220am & headed home But Dear & friends jio-ed me out for supper after I'd changed into my sleepwear DUHZ Dressed up all over again & headed to Al Azhar at Bukit Timah Had my roti john finally!! Yummmmmmmmmmmmy Mike suggested heading to Lim Chu Kang cementry area To show us fireflies & Chip said:"where the hell got firefly? So far in my army I only saw one" & I asked Mike:"you sure those are fireflies or not?" Mike kept quiet for a second & replied:"if you see anything, dont speak a word" DUHZ!! So they are not fireflies la~~~ Lewis Dear laughed beside me Stupid Mike freaked me out the whole journey & He wanted to blast music But I told him shut it off & dont disturb 'them' He asked:"Disturb who?" WAH LAOOOOOO Where got people so stupid? Still got who living at Lim Chu Kang cementry??!?! I hugged the teddy bear found in Mike's car & Dear's arm tightly throughout the journey & he brought us to our Sec 3 campsite Yikes I didnt know it was so secluded that time We then got down the car & walked to the jetty Serenity~~ But not very a romantic place to loiter afterall Mike played drift -_- Luckily I had my seat belt on I reached home at 420am Collapsed on bed immediately But my mind keeps flashing the Lim Chu Kang Road Grrrr So I was semi-conscious during my sleep =3 & I woke up at 930am -_- Rainy Saturday Heading to Holland V at night for dinner with Jackal & friends =))))) Yet another happy night, I guess Awwww... When I returned from my WildFilms trip to Chek Jawa Dear said he wasnt going to work He was down with hives & so I left after breakfast & accompanied Dear to the doc We waited for hours & I nearly fell asleep while waiting & we only got to leave for home at 3pm I concussed immediately as soon as I jumped onto Dear's bed But woke up at 7pm for TV & went out with Gor at 930pm Only got to finally reach home at 1230am *yawnz* Let's speak about my Chek Jawa trip Despite the full moon We didnt really see many mobile animals & I could finally spot nudibranches!!!  Elysia spp. Armina spp.The brittle stars were huge!  Ugly toadfishes alive  But what was really going on in Chek Jawa was... There was poachers!  We found about 5-7 pots on the shore with a long line linking one anotherIt stretched from the shore all the way to the water & in each pot there was approximately 3-4 crabs As you know Chek Jawa is a protected area Thus, poaching is illegal We then released the crabs by cutting the nets & destroying the pots & contacted Nparks about the situation Crab rescue for the morning, cool heh? Heading to Mich's bbq later & then to Berting Bornok on Sunday morning =D But work at Sunday night Aww..tired .: jeudi, juillet 21, 2005:. Yesterday at work was pretty scary Crowd started immediately after 8pm Think got about 10 patients in an hour This isnt the worst An emergency case arrived An indian worker hurt his head Bleeding & the doc had to see him thrice to get his stitches down While trying to rotate other patients for consulation Second emergency case arrived A girl was pulled by her friends into the clinic She cut her wrist She refused treatment She refused to go home When I saw the patient I was shocked I'm sorry that I'm so unprofessional But I couldnt help it That girl is one of my schoolmates As I was searching her medical card The number kept floating off & I had to get back to the computer & enforced it in my mind I couldnt count the numbers correctly I told myself "Calm down..." But my heart just kept pounding like some orgasmic dogs I think she saw me She hid behind her boyfriend I pretended I didnt see her nor recognise her But it's impossible We waved to each other in a shopping mall in January Her boss entered the clinic as well She told me that she isnt stable mentally & requested for emergency I thought:"Geez... really??" The thing about her is that During school She had been known as a weirdo by everyone She is really weird She tore off my friend's t-shirt while playing catching & sticks (literally) to the guys she likes But Never did I realised that she is REALLY mentally unstable till she can cut herself! I better blog something about my weekend before I sink into depression MY LAPPY BABY!!! I went to Sekudu (next to Pulau Ubin) for 2 consecutive mornings [Sat/Sun] It was my first time there & I was so excited about that place It had beautiful rock formation on it & apparently one of the rocks looks like a frog & thus, it was named The Frog Rock  Eyes were drawn on it, accompanied with a smile that greets everyone The red sea stars, however, were placed by WildFilms coz it was part of our mission for the mornings - to record a 1 minute video clip for National Day titled 'The Singapore I want' by shouting that line together with those sea stars We started to search for animals to film asap Trying not to waste time coz the low tide is rather short   Found a flatworm  A nudibranch - Jorunna  Sea anemones  A file snake  My first time handling the snake. Luckily it didnt freak me to death coz it looks harmless as everyone was touching it But nothing beats the sunrise   So romantic Real thing started just minutes before the tides really came in  Proper recording of the clip One of us was to shout 'This is the Singapore we want' while the others shouted 'Yay' But we sounded very fake. LOL. After several times & we got so experienced about it We finally got the clip done. Nice & perfect. Catch me on TV on National Day, if the clip is gonna be selected My 2 mornings of Sekudu were fun I just love going to new places Learning new things such as operating the cameras & yes, I took some clips myself! & I think they're not bad =D My tiredness from my first morning trip was subsided by ice-cream  Dear's 2nd elder brother made sweetcorn-strawberry-chocolate Orea icecream Not bad But I think only the sweetcorn & the oreo bits tasted the best Coz that's the only thing I like So... I left the strawberry & chocolate for Dear to finish it Hahaha After my second trip I stayed awake the whole day Didnt catch sleep coz I didnt have the mood to I was so excited to blog for Wildfilms & thus, I on my laptop Then blue screen appeared & the thing restarted continuously All happened so fast that I couldnt read what was on the monitor I asked Dear to come over & rescue my lappy So sad Lappy had been with me for 3 yrs in HK Been through up & down Saw me laugh and cry in front of it Communicated me worldwide when I was alone & lonely Played songs for me when I had severe insomnia Worked hard on my FYP data & report together But now........... The thing is Lappy didnt show any signs of 'unwell' before it sank into 'coma' So sudden =( Maybe Lappy didnt want me to worry =~ Man I seem to have brought Lappy alive by describing it as if it's a human But seriously When you'd developed feelings with an object, be it an ant, a tree or a toilet bowl You'll feel so sad when they start to leave you all so suddenly Hope Dear can save Lappy **Dear deleted my best-taken photo off his Nokia. Ji tao excited & Ivan & I hurried back home to change & take passport Hmmmm I think I have 8 entry & exit Malaysia stamps on my passport this week I headed JB to ask for the price of the Genting package Wanna go with Dear Kee only wanted to pump petrol Ivan... just tagged along as our bodyguard *haha* We intended to drive further up JB to use up the fuel so we can pump more But we saw a bloody long jam up to a little further than Komtar & we decided to head straight to SG Kee's car got distorted again  Last time left side, this time right *sigh* The whole bumper got 'screwed' by the wheel of this bus driven by an ah neh What I saw was: Kee wanted to drive into the lane But the bus didnt stop even when the head of the car is already in his way!!! Grrrrrr  I am so sick of this gastropod I expect more vibrant marine life Like fishes, stingrays, seahorses, etc But all is barren =| Until we found this  An orange polychaete named 'Eunice' The only thing that attracts us to film Feeling abit disappointed I was determined to look for more things to shoot & I found a large school of juvenile striped-eel catfishs!! Stupid me forgot to take pictures but nevermind & when we were about to leave Wai found a baby octopus! Nothing to really panic about actually coz the interviewers sounded friendlier than they looked like & I could see that they were impressed with my rubbish replies How amazing! They kept asking me about my studies in HongKong & I just told them what I did They even wanna test me, asking me "Which other countries except HongKong do Environmental Impact Assessment?" AH HUH! Luckily I still remember *blinks* They then asked me about my understanding of biodiversity in Singapore Afterall they notice that my course mainly deals with ecology & biodiversity & I told them about the Wildfilms Having trips to Singapore shores to record the beautiful marine life & then one of them asked "Can I have the contact of the Wilfilm captain?" *jaws dropped* I wondered if I'd sabo-ed the team & I hesitated In the end I gave them the website for them to find it out themselves They then asked me questions relating to the job & BINGO! They really asked about how I can contribute to NEA *bangs head on wall* Just at that moment Another interviewer cut in & asked another question LOL!! I escaped the scariest question I think it was a 15 minutes long interview & the best thing is they have smiles on their faces Which totally cleared the idea of strict government officer's images in my mind I thank Ivan for accompanying me down to the interview, back home & down town & also help me pay for my clothings from MANGO coz my NETS declined my transaction twice!! Only have $20+ left in it O_O & also paid for the dinner coz no money already BWHAHAHAH He said that I go out with him is to 'cheat-eat-cheat-drink' (in chinese) Stupid fellow Kee came to fetch us He is a damn road idiot Which he himself proudly admitted so We were supposed to go Dhoby Ghaut But he turned to Bugis Ok fine, so we went to have Fish & Co at Bugis instead Then after that We were supposed to head Orchard where he needa go through PIE to MediaCorp for his Wushu teaching lesson He missed turns Not once, not twice but MANY TIMES!! In the end, we still ended up in Bugis after 15mins *DUHZ* Luckily I knew the road & I guided him outta Bugis & asked him to drop us at Novena & then we met again after his lesson ended Kee's car got scratched A large part of the left front is horribly distorted Probably going JB later to get the job done Headed to KTV Jeannie, Evelyn & his brother joined Sang till 2am Very tired Stupid Ivan felt asleep beside me in the car on the way home & he snored so damn loud that I cant stop laughing Oh anyway I didnt really stop laughing the whole day anyway The 2 guys were so hilarious Coz Kee is already late for his Wushu lesson We walked fast to rush against time Then Ivan pulled both of us to slow down Saying "Dont walk so fast leh, just ate full, I'll puke one leh.
